The Embassy of Uzbekistan in Turkey organized virtual talks between domestic exporters of knitted products and representatives of the Turkish company AGT.

The parties considered issues of organizing direct supplies of Uzbekistan textile products to the markets of the European Union countries.

AGT has been successfully cooperating with such international retail chains as METRO, REWE and IKEA for over 10 years.

It was emphasized that European markets represent great prospects for high-quality Uzbekistan textile products. First of all, foreign buyers are interested in concluding long-term contracts for the supply of home textiles and terry products.

The sides agreed to jointly work out the issue of ensuring the quality of supplied products under the OECO-TEX standards.

An agreement was reached on organizing a trip of an AGT representative to Uzbekistan in February to get acquainted with manufacturers of textile products.
