Uzbekistan supports Ban Ki-Moon’s candidature to post of UN Secretary General

“The Republic of Uzbekistan supports the candidature of the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade of the Republic of Korea Ban Ki-Moon to the post of the UN Secretary General,” President of Uzbekistan Islam Karimov said ahead of his visit to South Korea.

“It has to be noted that views of Uzbekistan and South Korean on many international issues coincide,” President Islam Karimov noted.
