Educational and Consulting Center of Tourism signed a Memorandum with the European Institute of Education (Bulgaria), the purpose of which is to cooperate with the parties in the sphere of educational activities, implementation of joint projects on improving quality of education for workers in tourism and hospitality, as well as to strengthen comprehensive links between education institutions of the two countries.
Acting First Deputy Chairman of the State Committee for Tourism Development of the Republic of Uzbekistan U.Kasimkhodjayev met with members of the delegation and informed about cooperation between Uzbekistan and India in the coming months in tourism projects, as well as development of tourism industry.

On November 2, 2018, Educational and Consulting Center of Tourism together with the Association of Private Tourist Organizations of Uzbekistan, Silk Road International University of Tourism and the TGS Travel Bureau with the support of the State Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan for Tourism Development, held a master class on “The role of tourism companies in development of tourism and promotion of tourism product” for representatives of Uzbekistan tourism business.
On November 19-21, Tashkent will host an International Investment Forum in the sphere of tourism, the organizers of which is the State Committee for Tourism Development of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the State Investment Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Embassy of the Republic of Uzbekistan abroad, the Ministry for Foreign Trade and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan.
The event, organized by the State Tourism Development Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan in cooperation with the UN World Tourism Organization and a number of partner organizations, was attended by representatives from over 100 travel companies from almost 40 countries.
