New platform for improving the quality of public servicesThe Ministry for Development of Information Technologies and Communications of the Republic of Uzbekistan will create a unified, secure information platform for interaction between the Public Services Centers and government bodies. The project provides for integration of all 8 information systems and databases used in public services centers.
According to the Ministry, at the same time, more than 20 information systems and databases of state bodies will be integrated into the e-government system for automating inter-agency data exchange within the framework of the execution of the project on implementation of 26 new public services in the established centers.
Along with this, a unified automated system of electronic payment and accounting for paid state duties and fees for electronic public services through electronic government systems will be developed and implemented.
Within the framework of this work, the Ministry for Development of Information Technologies and Communications will continue to work on increasing the level of literacy of the population in the use of information technologies, which is directly related to improving the quality of public services.
