Examinations in a new specialized schoolEntrance examinations were conducted in the Specialized School named after Muhammad al-Khorazmiy with advanced study of subjects related to information and communication technologies, as the results of which the first students of this school will be selected.
According to the member of the admission committee, rector of Inha University in Tashkent S.Babakhodjayeva, rapid development of information and communication technologies requires not only an increase in professionalism of IT specialists, but also stimulates the emergence of new professions. Due to this, the popularity of such specialties as IT project manager, system administrator, web designer, 3D model designer, software testing specialist, information systems architect is growing.
Young generation of IT specialists will be educated in this school that is established in accordance with the resolution of the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev “On organization of the Specialized School for advanced study of information and communication technologies named after Muhammad al-Khorazmiy” of September 14, 2017. Activities of the new educational institution will allow identifying representatives of gifted youth and providing them with all conditions and opportunities for realizing their potential.
Students of the specialized school will study mathematics, physics, computer science and foreign languages, master programming skills, create databases and will receive basic knowledge on ensuring information security. The classrooms and auditoriums of the school will be equipped with the most modern technologies and equipment, which will make it possible to use advanced information and pedagogical technologies that help improve the quality of the educational process.
About 190 students of specialized and general education schools took part in the entrance examinations.
After summing up the results of examinations, 60 children who received the highest scores will be enrolled in the Specialized School named after Muhammad al-Khorazmiy for training in the fifth grade in 2017/2018 school year.
