Amanmuradova’s first victory in 2010

Akgul Amanmuradova of Uzbekistan won her first victory this year at the WTA international tennis tournament in Brisbane, Australia, in which the world’s strongest tennis players are participating.

In pair competitions, Amanmuradova and Yung Yan Chan of Chinese Taipei opposed Sara Errani from Italy and Iveta Benesova from Czech Republic and won with a score of 2-6, 6-3, 12-10.

This pair will now meet Anastasia Pavlyuchenko from Russia and Galina Voskoboyeva from Kazakhstan in fight for semifinals.
