Hand-to-hand combat championship opens

The third Asian open championship in hand-to-hand combat started in Karshi.

The event attracted athletes from Uzbekistan, India, Thailand, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Armenia, as well as countries of Europe and America.

The Asian championship is being held in three groups – professionals will compete in 10 weight categories, teenagers in 9 and women in 6.

Uzbekistan is represented by famous sportsmen like Nurbek Gediyev, Botir Rahmanov, Elbek Zairov.
