Uzbekistan wins 24 medals in Vietnam

The sports delegation of Uzbekistan returned from the third Asian Indoor Games held in Vietnam during 26 October – 8 November.

The athletes from more than 40 countries of the continent participated in the competitions in 22 kinds of sports.

The Uzbek sportsmen won a total of 24 medals, including 5gold, 9 silver and 10 bronze medals.

They demonstrated success in the sports like kurash, track and field athletics, swimming, Muai Thai, penchak-silat, chess, computer games and futsal.

At the Tashkent airport, the participants of the Asian Indoor Games were met by the representatives of the ministries and departments, sportsmen and fans, as well as the media.
