AIBA representatives meet in Tashkent

Meeting of the technical committee of the International Boxing Association (AIBA) gathered in Tashkent. The event is organized in collaboration with the National Olympic Committee of Uzbekistan and the Republican Boxing Federation.

Speaking at the ceremony, President of the International Boxing Association (AIBA) Wu Ching- Kuo, Chairman of the National Olympic Committee of Uzbekistan Malik Babaev, Chairman of the Boxing Federation of Uzbekistan Ochilboy Ramatov and others emphasized that as a result of attention, being paid under the leadership of President Islam Karimov, to the development of boxing, our boxers get top places in the world, continental championships and Olympic Games.

During the two-day meeting the participants will discuss issues related to the development of world boxing, careful preparation for the forthcoming XXX Olympic games in London (United Kingdom), training and support young boxers.
