Uzbek sportsmen win in Vietnam

The Asian Indoor Games 3 are continuing in Vietnam’s Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh.

On the third day of the games, Sh.Holmamatov from Uzbekistan won a gold medal in Uzbek kurash wrestling in weight category 85 kg. Among women, the gold medal winner was N.Hamdamova (63 kg).

In swimming, D.Tulupov and D.Bugakov won silver and bronze medals respectively. In penchak silat, F.Shermuhamedova and N.Kazakova won bronze, while Sh.Sharipov was third in 57 kg category in Muai Thai.

The Uzbek team became second in the Counter Strike 1.6 computer games, while S.Abdullayev won bronze in the Need For Speed: Most Wanted (singles).

Uzbek futsal players reached half finals, winning over Japan with 5-3.
