New colleges built in Samarkand regionUzA, 7 September 2010, 14:25 A new professional college of economics and service was commissioned in Ulus village of Nurabad district and a service college was opened in Urganji village of Koshrabat district of Samarkand region. The first college is designed for 615 students and the second for 435 young people. In the new academic year, the Nurabad college received 270 students and the Koshrabat college welcomed 150 students. Acting director of the second college Kaitar Unaboyev told UzA the institution trains specialists in six directions, including petrol stations servicing, computers and computer networks assembly and repairs, household appliance repairs and others.
