Turon information and library center moves to new building

New building of Turon information and library center was commissioned in Tashkent region.

Turon library was founded in the beginning of the 20th century by the representatives of the national intelligentsia.

Currently, the funds of the library contain over 400,000 titles, including books signed by the leading scientists, writers and poets, unique manuscripts, papers and magazines reflecting the history of the national press.

The library center now has new reading and computer halls, and a searchable database. Besides, readers can access the internet and national legislation programs.

Special equipment maintains required light, humidity and temperature, necessary to preserve the books in the required conditions.
