School fairs held in Surkhandarya

More than 180 school markets and fair shave been organized in the towns and districts of Surkhandarya region in accordance with the government’s resolution on preparation to the new academic year.

116 fairs are functioning at the schools, professional colleges and academic lyceums and 24 fairs are working at the region’s markets.

A total of 27 types of study items, stationery and uniforms are presented at the school fairs at affordable prices.

“The fairs have been organized with consideration of the needs of the students in study materials, textbooks and clothes,” Utkir Primkulov of Surkhandarya public education department said.

The location of the fairs allows residents of even remote villages to purchase required items for the coming academic year.
