“Let me take this opportunity to express support of Latvia for the impressive program of state reforms in Uzbekistan, initiated by Your Excellency, – is noted in the message of the Latvian leader. – I believe that the efforts undertaken on strengthening the rule of law, modernization of the economy and governance, will reveal the huge potential of development of Uzbekistan”.

Raimonds Vejonis has emphasized with confidence, that friendly relations between Latvia and Uzbekistan will continue to prosper.

President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev noted in his message: “In a short historical period, a reliable partnership has been established between our states based on strong ties of friendship, a high level of mutual understanding and mutual trust”. An intensive and productive dialogue is developing on the entire agenda of relations”.

The Head of our state confirmed “a firm commitment to further expansion and deepening of mutually beneficial bilateral cooperation in political, trade-economic, innovative, transport and cultural-humanitarian spheres” and expressed confidence that multifaceted relations between Uzbekistan and Latvia will continue to strengthen by joint efforts.
