President awards referees Irmatov and Ilyasov

President Islam Karimov signed two decrees on 20 July on awarding FIFA referees from Uzbekistan Ravshan Irmatov and Rafael Ilyasov.

Ravshan Irmatov, who refereed five matches at 2010 FIFA World Cup, was awarded with the honorary title “O‘zbekiston Iftikhori” (“Pride of Uzbekistan”).

His assistant Rafael Ilyasov, in accordance with the President’s decree, received the order “Do‘stlik” (“Friendship”).

As stated in the decrees, the referees were awarded for their great contribution to promoting national football in the world and development of the school of refereeing in Uzbekistan.
