Westminster International University in Tashkent hosted an event dedicated to determining winners of “Do you know Korea” traditional quiz 2018.

It was attended by one hundred experts – students of the University of World Economy and Diplomacy, Tashkent State Institute of Oriental Studies, Tashkent State Pedagogical University named after Nizami, Inha University in Tashkent, Uzbek State World Languages University, students from Karakalpakstan, Samarkand, Andijan, Fergana, Khorezm regions, students of Education center of Sejong school of the Republic of Korea.

Participants demonstrated their knowledge under the supervision of fans. An ordinary board, a pencil and an eraser, and the most importantly, correct answers helped to identify winners among participants. Participants with less correct answers had to leave the game and with more correct answers became the winners of the competition.

Korean songs and dances were performed between the stages of the competition to support participants, which took place under bitter struggle in the form of discussions and controversy.

Winners received the right to travel to Korea and participate in the world stage of the competition.
