The exhibition was organized by the Committee on interethnic relations and friendly ties with foreign countries under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan and “Uzbekistan – Belgium” friendship society in cooperation with the Ministry of Public Education of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Amir Temur international public charity foundation and the State Museum of the Temurids’ history. The opening ceremony of the event was attended by representatives of state and public organizations, scientists, researchers, museologists, professors and teachers, students, and mass media employees.

Cultural and humanitarian relations between Uzbekistan and Belgium are becoming more active, cooperation in the sphere of tourism is developing.

Within the framework of the event, ceremony of awarding the winners of “Do you know Belgium?” competition among high school students of general education schools of the city of Tashkent was held. The winners were awarded memorable gifts.

The collection of clothes, presented by students of the National Institute of Arts and Design named after Kamoliddin Bekhzod, and the exposition of the museum made a great impression on the audience.
