The Ministry of Culture hosted a meeting on preservation and use of cultural heritage.

As it was noted, careful preservation of historical, cultural and intellectual heritage is of great importance in enriching, further enhancing the spirituality of the younger generation, achieving sustainable development of the country.

At the meeting, scientists in the field of architecture, art, specialists of territorial branches of state inspections, employees of the Main Scientific Production Directorate for the Protection and Use of Cultural Heritage Objects under the Ministry, UNESCO representatives discussed in detail the activities carried out in this direction and the existing problems.

It is envisaged to implement an agreement with rectors of Tashkent Institute of Architecture and Construction and the National Institute of Fine Arts and Design named after Kamoliddin Bekhzad on opening the Department of Restoration for resolving urgent issues. In addition, proposals were made on holding master classes involving foreign specialists.
