On June 13, 2018, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Uzbekistan jointly with the General Prosecutor's Office and the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE) held an information seminar on the launch of the project “Support to counteracting corruption in private sector of Uzbekistan”, in Radisson Blue Tashkent hotel.

On June 13, 2018, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Uzbekistan jointly with the General Prosecutor's Office and the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE) held an information seminar on the launch of the project “Support to counteracting corruption in private sector of Uzbekistan”, in Radisson Blue Tashkent hotel.

The seminar was attended by representatives of international organizations, as well as representatives of ministries and agencies, business entities, civil society and the mass media. Head of department on interaction with judicial, law enforcement and supervisory bodies of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Uzbekistan B.Ibodullayev delivered a speech at the event “On activities carried out by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Uzbekistan in the field of countering corruption and other violations in business environment”, adviser to the OSCE Project Co-ordinator in Uzbekistan M.Khusanov on “Supporting the fight against corruption in the private sector of Uzbekistan”, representative of the Prosecutor General on “Measures taken by the Prosecutor General in the fight against corruption”.

The main goal of the project is introduction of international experience in the fight against corruption, which hinders the development of entrepreneurship in the country, effective implementation of the national legislation in all areas of public and business activities, as well as creation of a healthier investment environment for attracting foreign investment, promotion of competitive environment.
