The agenda raised issues of improving tax administration. On the part of representatives of the IMF, research works are carried out on studying the state of the country’s tax policy. The purpose of these studies is development of strategic and tactical solutions, as well as development of proposals on improving the tax administration of the country.

A number of proposals were made on creating a bureau for working with taxpayers, introducing business approaches, modern ICT in tax administration, training professional specialists, and others.

According to the Ministry, Peter Barrand noted that the roadmap for tax administration will be submitted by IMF experts in the near future.

The work of the IMF mission in this direction continues.
