A roundtable on "Prospects for improving educational processes for involving the public in entrepreneurship" was held at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan.

It was attended by representatives of the State Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan for Assistance to Privatized Enterprises and Development of Competition, the Republican Center for Training in the Basics of Entrepreneurship, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Uzbek-Chinese Trade Association. 

At the roundtable participants discussed the work carried out by the Republican Center for Training in the Basics of Entrepreneurship on involving the general public in entrepreneurship, as well as issues of increasing the effectiveness of work in this direction.

In the first half of this year, about 5,5 thousand entrepreneurs were trained in training courses of the center. Around 500 participants – young entrepreneurs, 221 business entities expanded their business. As a result, more than 920 new jobs have been created. During this time, students of the center took 5.8 billion sums of loans to establish business activity and further business development.

Following the event, information about the plans of the center for the future was given.
